THE CONCLUSION
about the anti-tumoural properties in the culture of cells of the autonomic electrical stimulator of the gastrointestinal tract and mucous membranes (AES) presented by Scientific-Industrial corporation "ECOMED".

The aim of this work was the investigation of direct and indirect tumouricidal activity of the AES in short-term and long-term cultures of tumoural cells.

The conducted researches have shown, that the AES has a defined effect in cultures of cells. It decreases trustworthy the proliferic activity of solid and acid tumoural cells in culture. This oppression of its predecessors in diribonucleinal acid is not connected however with direct cytological-toxic effect of AES because the viability of tumoural cells stayed practically invariable. It may be suggested, that a weak electromagnetic field, produced by the AES, oppresses metabolism and velocity of proliferation of tumoural cells, by this having no effect on penetrability of cell's membranes, tlie AES can significantly decrease formation of colonies of tumoural cells, tliat is characteristic for velocity of metastasis of tumours and for degree of their malignantness. The AES increases the anti-tumoural activity of cells-phagocytes - the main cell elements of natural anti-tumoural immunity of organism. On tlie base of received results it may be suggested, that the AES can become an effective remedy, increasing the resistance of organism to any tumourals and strengthening medicinal effect of known chemical-therapeutic preparations.
