Assignment
Portable opthalmoscope -2,5/3,5 provides the examination of the patient's eyeground, lighted by the illuminating system with the ordinary or blue-green light. While carrying out the examination matrix with horizontal scale and concentric circles is projected on the eyeground that allows to estimate escalation of the optic disk, the diameters of large vessels and size of pathological formations as well as to diagnose the presence and absence of central fixation. Round small and mean diaphragms allows to locally illuminate small eyeground sections, representing the greatest interest; fissural diaphragm is intended for estimation of the form characteristics of the eyeground and the iris of the eye and can be used for iridodiagnosis. Blue-green light filter allows increasing contrast while testing vascular tree.
Eyeground is examined by the doctor through the correction lens of the relevant refraction allowing balancing the ammethropy of the doctor and the patient so that the doctor can see the clear image of the patient's eyeground.
Complicated optic system of the precision optic elements originally arranged in the microhead (patent ¹ 3083) allows achieving characteristics not possessed by the analogous devices produced by the other countries.
